We’re fans of the Chase Sapphire Preferred card with it’s robust bonus (50,000 Ultimate Rewards Points) and it’s 20% booking discount through Chase, but Chase is now offering points through various marketing events through the Thanksgiving and Christmas season.
Today’s promotion through Groupon is that you receive 20 Ultimate Rewards points for every dollar you spend at Groupon. Buying gift cards doesn’t count , but if you have one yourself you can use it and still qualify for the rewards points.
Use a rewards credit card for a major Groupon (or Groupon Getaway) purchase to fully maximize the promotion. For example, one savvy consumer used their American Express Starwood Card today to purchase a full Invisalign dental for $2,999. He ended up with:
